Teens hitting virtual road in Randolph driving class

Posted on April 24, 2009 at 10:35am 0 Comments

PARSIPPANY -- Rich Catania gripped the steering wheel, hit the gas and began a leisurely drive on a city street Thursday.

He failed to check his right-hand side and heard a thump.

Nobody was injured, and Randolph Police Sgt. Will Yarzab didn't arrest Catania, 18, a Randolph High School senior, for hitting a bicyclist.

Rather, Yarzab replayed the video of the driving program he hopes will enhance teenage driving skills.

Parsippany voters defeat $132M spending plan, tax hike

Two board members were losing in separate elections, though one race remained too close to call pending absentee ballots.

Next up, the town council will meet to determine a possible reduction in the budget plan, which had been supported 7-1 by the school board.

The budget was defeated, 1,841 to 1,268.

Hi-

I received a note that I have listed my event three times. I'm not sure if you looked closely, but I posted three camps that are happening on three different dates at three different venues. 1/16/ Summit; 1/24 Bridgewater; 1/31 East Hanover.

If I don't post them separately how do you know that we are running these three events. Actually we are running six but these three are in the area for Parsippany residents to easily attend.

Thanks,
Barbara Rubin
